Another thing that makes me question Pam dying is Kristin talking about her last scene with Alex. I mean typically when a vamp dies there isn’t much time for any emotional scenes or whatever (except with Nora, and Pam wouldn’t be slowly dying like Nora, and we know Eric is going to be cured now). She said she was losing it and Alex “cracked” even though she expected him to be stoic and to me that sounds more like a last scene together than one of them dying. She literally said she ran to her car and left in tears and I just don’t think that sounds like her dying to me, because if she dies, she’s gonna go splat and be gone. She wouldn’t be there for the emotional stuff, right? I suppose that could mean them parting ways (not what I want but I’ll take anything over Pam dying tbh) or them leaving together (best case).

Also, friendly reminder:

Seriously can’t buy Eric not only surviving Pam’s death but going to hang out with the person she hates most. I just 100% can’t see Eric caring about anything anymore if Pam’s gone when a couple of weeks ago nothing was worth living for. And I certainly can’t see him looking for comfort somewhere he has literally never found any comfort, only more hurt.

Maybe we need to slow our roll, girls.

/irrational hope

I’m going to think that they got so emotional because they GET their HEA and Alex and Kristin were very sad that the show ended now that Eric and Pam got together.

"When Eric sailed up into that blue sky it felt like nothing less than a hero’s farewell. A character who began as a taciturn, self-involved bar owner was now a full-blown vampire superhero with a bigger destiny."

…..research being done by psychologist Nancy Etcoff shows that when human beings see an attractive person the reward centers in the brain fire. And that if you look at them enough, you can become addicted to the beauty of that one person.

Are your reward centers firing?

HA!
